1. A rear view mirror, for being supported by a vertical pole attached to a vehicle, comprising:
- a housing having a chassis and a cover;
the chassis supporting one or more mirrors;
the cover further comprising a leading edge and a trailing edge;
the housing having three pairs of through openings for receiving the vertical pole, provided in cooperating top and bottom pairs, through which may pass the vertical pole; and
the chassis having mounting surfaces with grooves to engage the vertical pole for lateral adjustment with a clamp to affix the vertical pole to the chassis.
