1. A method for communication between a communication device adapted for communicating with a network and a content provider associated with an internet domain name, wherein the network is configured for transmitting concise messages, the method comprising:

  • providing an interface between the network and the internet domain;

    assigning at least one channel for accessing the network through the communication device, wherein the at least one channel comprises a short code comprising “

    DOT”

    combined with a top-level internet domain;

    storing a set of routing instructions corresponding to the content provider on a server, the set of routing instructions comprising at least one query response;

    receiving a request generated by the communication device, wherein the request comprises a combination of the at least one channel and a designator, the combination comprising the internet domain name of the content provider for mapping the request to the set of routing instructions, and, optionally, a request instruction;

    routing the request as directed by the set of routing instructions to generate a response to the request; and

    transmitting concise message content to the communication device comprising the response to the request.
