a face area detection unit that detects a face area in an input image; an eye detection unit that detects an eye in the detected face area a center point determining unit that determines a center point for warp processing based on position information of the detected eve; and a warp processing unit that performs a warp processing on the input image based on the center point, wherein when the eye detection unit detects one eye, the center point determining unit determines where the detected eye is positioned in the detected face area and determines coordinates corresponding to a position at a predetermined distance from the eye position in the face area toward a center of the face area as a center point.
