Insertion device for infusion sets
First Claim
1. An insertion device for infusion sets comprising a housing for generally enclosing an infusion set to be placed in the insertion device and a drive device for moving the infusion set in a drive direction, wherein the drive device comprises a drive mechanism connected to the housing, at least one elastic means for providing at least a portion of a driving force, and a drive endpiece to move an infusion set in a drive direction, the drive endpiece being able to be pretensioned relative to the housing by the elastic means such that the drive endpiece is moved in the drive direction when the pretensioning is released, wherein the elastic means connects the housing and the drive endpiece such that the elastic means is elastically expanded when the drive endpiece is moved counter to the drive direction.

14. An insertion device for an infusion set comprising:
-
a housing for generally enclosing an infusion set to be placed in the insertion device; a sleeve; an elastomer part which is located at a lower end of the housing and bears on a lower inside wall of the sleeve; a drive device for moving the infusion set in a drive direction, wherein the drive device comprises a drive mechanism connected to the housing; at least one elastic means for providing at least a portion of a driving force; a drive endpiece to move an infusion set in a drive direction, the drive endpiece being able to be pretensioned relative to the housing by the elastic means such that the drive endpiece is moved in the drive direction when the pretensioning is released, wherein the elastic means connects the housing and the drive endpiece such that the elastic means is elastically expanded when the drive endpiece is moved counter to the drive direction; a charging grip which engages the drive endpiece; and a release mechanism located next to the charging grip and configured to release the pretensioning when pressed when the drive endpiece is pretensioned relative to the housing by the elastic means. - View Dependent Claims (15, 16, 17, 18, 19)

20. An insertion device for an infusion set comprising:
-
a housing for generally enclosing an infusion set to be placed in the insertion device; a sleeve; an elastomer part which is located at a lower end of the housing and bears on a lower inside wall of the sleeve; a drive device for moving the infusion set in a drive direction, wherein the drive device comprises a drive mechanism connected to the housing; at least one elastic means for providing at least a portion of a driving force; a drive endpiece to move an infusion set in a drive direction and arranged on one end of the elastic means, wherein the elastic means is connected at an opposite end to the housing, the drive endpiece being surrounded by the housing and able to be pretensioned relative to the housing by the elastic means such that the drive endpiece is moved in the drive direction when the pretensioning is released, wherein the elastic means elastically expanded when the drive endpiece is moved counter to the drive direction, and wherein the elastic means comprises expendable bands which are arranged symmetrically around the drive endpiece to maintain the drive endpiece on an intended path of movement in the drive direction; a charging grip which engages the drive endpiece and which is drawn upwards relatively to the housing when the drive endpiece is pretensioned relative to the housing by the elastic means; and a release mechanism located next to the charging grip and configured to release the pretensioning when pressed inward towards the charging grip when the drive endpiece is pretensioned relative to the housing by the elastic means.
