- a thin film transistor comprising;
a semiconductor film;
a first insulating film over the semiconductor film; and
a gate electrode over the first insulating film;
a second insulating film over the thin film transistor, wherein the second insulating film is a silicon nitride film;
a conductive film over the second insulating film;
a planarization film over the conductive film, wherein the planarization film has a first opening portion;
a first electrode over the planarization film and in the first opening portion, wherein the first electrode is electrically connected to the thin film transistor through the conductive film;
an organic resin film over the first electrode, wherein the organic resin film has a second opening portion;
a light-emitting member over the first electrode and the organic resin film; and
a second electrode over the light-emitting member,wherein a first edge portion of the first opening portion is rounded,wherein a second edge portion of the second opening portion is rounded,wherein the organic resin film is provided in the first opening portion,wherein a bottom of the second opening portion does not overlap with a bottom of the first opening portion, andwherein the first electrode is in contact with a top surface of the conductive film.

The planarization film has an opening where an edge portion is rounded. The display device further includes a first electrode over the planarization film and an organic resin film over the first electrode. The organic resin film also has an opening where an edge portion is rounded. The organic resin film is located in the opening of the planarization film. The first electrode and the transistor are electrically connected to each other through a conductive film. The first electrode is in contact with a top surface of the conductive film. Over the first electrode, a light-emitting member and a second electrode are provided.
