1. A non-transitory computer-readable medium to provide a job manager, the computer-readable medium having computer-executable instructions thereon to configure a processing device to perform a plurality of operations, the operations comprising:
- receiving a job property of a job operating on at least one operating environment of a plurality of operating environments, wherein the job property is received in a job scheduling nomenclature of the at least one operating environment, wherein the job scheduling nomenclature of the at least one operating environment is different from a job scheduling nomenclature of at least a second of the plurality of operating environments;
identifying a normalization profile associated with the at least one operating environment; and
applying the normalization profile to the received job property, a result of the application being a value associated with the job property, the value being a normalized job property of the job property in a normalized job scheduling nomenclature.

Abstract
This disclosure provides a system and method for normalizing job properties. In one embodiment, a job manager is operable to identify a property of a job, with the job being associated with an operating environment. The job manager is further operable to normalize the property of the job and present the normalized property of the job to a user.
