  • a valve support structure comprising three deflectable panels arranged to form the periphery of the valve support structure, the valve support structure being transitionable from an undeployed configuration to a deployed configuration, wherein the valve support structure is generally tubular in the deployed configuration and wherein each panel is concave in the undeployed configuration and convex in the deployed configuration;

    a plurality of valve leaflets coupled to an inner lumen of the valve support structure; and

    a shape retensive panel expansion member comprising a first arm member and a second arm member and biased to deflect the arm members away from each other, the first arm member being coupled to a surface of a first panel and the second arm member being coupled to a surface of an adjacent, second panel such that deflection of the arm members away from each other causes the first and second panels to expand into the generally tubular configuration.
