Technique for processing data in a network
DCFirst Claim
1. A method comprising:
- identifying within an annotation sequence at least one annotation corresponding to at least one location within a media stream, the annotation sequence comprising a plurality of annotations, a plurality of time marks, and at least one arc defining a period between time marks, wherein at least one of the plurality of annotations and a probability of the accuracy of the at least one annotation is associated with the at least one arc, and wherein the at least one annotation within the media stream is identified based at least in part on the probability of the accuracy of the annotation associated with the at least one arc;
presenting on a client device an icon associated with the at least one annotation, the icon selectable for retrieving media data corresponding to the at least one annotation; and
presenting, in response to a selection of the icon, the media data corresponding to the least one annotation to the client device.

Abstract
A technique for processing data in a network is disclosed. In one particular exemplary embodiment, the technique may be realized as a method for processing data in a network having a plurality of network stations. The method comprises receiving a first representation of data at a first of the plurality of network stations, processing the first representation so as to generate a second representation of the data, and transmitting the second representation from the first network station to a second of the plurality of network stations for storage therein, wherein the second representation is stored at an address within the second network station. The method also comprises receiving the address at the first network station, and transmitting the address from the first network station to a third of the plurality of network stations for storage therein.
