1. A method comprising:

  • identifying within an annotation sequence at least one annotation corresponding to at least one location within a media stream, the annotation sequence comprising a plurality of annotations, a plurality of time marks, and at least one arc defining a period between time marks, wherein at least one of the plurality of annotations and a probability of the accuracy of the at least one annotation is associated with the at least one arc, and wherein the at least one annotation within the media stream is identified based at least in part on the probability of the accuracy of the annotation associated with the at least one arc;

    presenting on a client device an icon associated with the at least one annotation, the icon selectable for retrieving media data corresponding to the at least one annotation; and

    presenting, in response to a selection of the icon, the media data corresponding to the least one annotation to the client device.
