Method of processing non-real time service and broadcast receiver
First Claim
1. A method of transmitting a broadcast signal for non-real time service, the method comprising:
- generating the broadcast signal having a non-real time service/content, and signaling data for signaling the non-real time service/content, the non-real time service/content being a broadcast service/content that are delivered in advance of its use,wherein the signaling data includes a service map table containing service-level attributes for a non-real time broadcasting and a non-real time information table containing information describing non-real time contents available for download to storage in a broadcast receiving device, the service map table including service identifier identifying non-real time service, wherein the service identifier is used as a linkage to the non-real time information table from the service map table; and
transmitting the non-real time service/content and the signaling data via a broadcast channel;
wherein the non-real time information table further includes a content linkage element to link from the non-real time content to files delivered in one or more File Delivery over Unidirectional Transport (FLUTE) sessions that are components of the non-real time service with which the non-real time content is associated, the files belonging to the non-real time content,wherein the non-real time information table further includes start time information indicating a start time of a period covered by an instance of the non-real time information table and length information indicating a length of the period covered by the instance of the non-real time information table.

Abstract
A method of receiving and process a broadcast signal including a Non-Real Time (NRT) service and a broadcast receiver are disclosed herein. A method of processing a broadcast signal including a Non-Real Time (NRT) service, the method comprises receiving and processing a signaling information table including access information of the NRT service, receiving and storing data of the NRT service based on the signaling information table in non-real time, extracting access information of additional information relating to the NRT service from the signaling information table, and downloading the additional information relating to the NRT service based on the extracted access information.

5. An apparatus for receiving a broadcast signal for non-real time service, the apparatus comprising:
-
a tuner configured to receive the broadcast signal having a non-real time service/content, and signaling data for signaling the non-real time service/content, the non-real time service/content being a broadcast service/content that are delivered in advance of its use via a broadcast channel; a processor configured to parse a service map table containing service-level attributes for a non-real time broadcasting from the signaling data, obtain service identifier identifying a non-real time service from the service map table, wherein the service identifier is also used as a linkage to a non-real time information table from the service map table, and link to the non-real time information table containing information describing non-real time contents available for download to storage in a broadcast receiving device; and a storage configured to store the non-real time content based on information of the non-real time information table; wherein the non-real time information table further includes a content linkage element to link from the non-real time content to files delivered in one or more FLUTE sessions that are components of the non-real time service with which the non-real time content is associated, the files belonging to the non-real time content, wherein the non-real time information table further includes start time information indicating a start time of a period covered by an instance of the non-real time information table and length information indicating a length of the period covered by the instance of the non-real time information table. - View Dependent Claims (6, 7, 8)
