1. A golf club grip comprising:

  • a body disposed around a golf club shaft, the body comprising an inner section and an outer section, the body further including a sub-chamber disposed between the inner and outer sections;

    a hardening agent inserted into the sub-chamber, the hardening agent being adapted to be molded into a shape by a player'"'"'s grip and to substantially maintain the shape of the player'"'"'s grip after the hardening agent has hardened, the hardened hardening agent having a higher durometer than the outer section;

    wherein the outer section substantially conforms to the player'"'"'s grip when gripped, and returns to and maintains a substantially circular cross section upon release by the player'"'"'s grip, hardened hardening agent continuing to substantially maintain the shape of the player'"'"'s grip while the released portion of the outer section returns to the substantially circular cross section; and

    wherein the inner section has a substantially geometric cross section along the length of the inner section as the body is gripped by the player.
