- a screw; and
a plate-like main element comprising;
at least one through opening, each through opening comprising;
a central opening having a central radius and a central midpoint; and
five radial through bores spaced around said central opening, said five radial through bores comprising;
a first radial through bore having a first radius and a first midpoint;
a second radial through bore having a second radius and a second midpoint;
a third radial through bore having a third radius and a third midpoint;
a fourth radial through bore having a fourth radius and a fourth midpoint; and
a fifth radial through bore having a fifth radius and a fifth midpoint;
five intersection surfaces, comprising;
a first intersection surface formed from a common intersection of said central opening with said first radial through bore and said second radial through bore;
a second intersection surface formed from a common intersection of said central opening with said second radial through bore and said third radial through bore;
a third intersection surface formed from a common intersection of said central opening with said third radial through bore and said fourth radial through bore;
a fourth intersection surface formed from a common intersection of said central opening with said fourth radial through bore and said fifth radial through bore; and
a fifth intersection surface formed from a common intersection of said central opening with said fifth radial through bore and said first radial through bore;
five intersection lines comprising;
a first intersection line formed from a common intersection of said first radial through bore and said second radial through bore;
a second intersection line formed from a common intersection of said second radial through bore and said third radial through bore;
a third intersection line formed from a common intersection of said third radial through bore and said fourth radial through bore;
a fourth intersection line formed from a common intersection of said fourth radial through bore and said fifth radial through bore; and
a fifth intersection line formed from a common intersection of said fifth radial through bore and said first radial through bore.

Abstract
An orthopedic screw fastener system, includes at least one screw, consisting in each case of a screw head and of a screw shank, the screw head being provided with a thread, and at least one plate with a thickness, provided with at least one through-bore which is able to receive a screw. The plate has a through-opening, formed by at least two through-bores, each through-bore being defined by a midpoint and by a radius, and the through-bores are offset relative to each other and intersect each other in such a way that intersection lines and/or intersection surfaces form, which extend into the depth of the through-opening.

4. An orthopedic screw fastener system, comprising:

at least one screw, comprising in each case a screw head and a screw shank, the screw head having a thread, and at least one plate, each comprising; a through opening comprising; a central opening with a central midpoint M, and a central radius RM starting at said central midpoint M; and a plurality of radial bores comprising; at least five radial bores each comprising a radius R starting on a common arc of a circle around the central midpoint M and wherein a midpoint of at least one radial bore of said at least five radial bores is arranged at a same distance to the central midpoint M as an adjacent midpoint of an adjacent radial bore of said at least five radial bores; wherein said through opening is configured to receive one of said at least one screw, said through opening further comprising; a plurality of intersecting lines formed in said through opening of said at least one plate, wherein said plurality of intersecting lines are formed by common intersections of each pair of adjacent radial bores of said at least five radial bores and wherein said plurality of intersection lines extend from a top side of said at least one plate to a bottom side of said at least one plate so that said at least one screw interacts with at least one of said plurality of intersecting lines when screwed into said at least one plate; and a plurality of intersection surfaces comprising at least five intersection surfaces comprising; a first intersection surface formed from an intersection of a first radial bore and a second radial bore of said at least five radial bores and said central opening; a second intersection surface formed from an intersection of said second radial bore and a third radial bore of said at least five radial bores and said central opening; a third intersection surface formed from an intersection of said third radial bore and a fourth radial bore of said at least five radial bores and said central opening; a fourth intersection surface formed from an intersection of said fourth radial bore and a fifth radial bore of said at least five radial bores and said central opening; and a fifth intersection surface. - View Dependent Claims (5, 6, 7, 8)
