1. An implantable medical lead comprising:

  • a lead body including (i) a proximal portion having a longitudinal axis, and (ii) an arcuate distal portion extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis, the arcuate distal portion having a concave surface; and

    a plurality of elongate electrodes disposed at the arcuate distal portion of the lead body along the concave surface, the electrodes extending substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the lead body,wherein the plurality of electrodes comprises a first electrode having a distal end and a proximal end and a second electrode having a distal end and a proximal end, wherein a line perpendicular to the longitudinal axis across the concave surface intersects the first electrode at the proximal end and intersects the second electrode between the proximal and distal ends,wherein each of the plurality of electrodes has an aspect ratio of its longitudinal length to its lateral width of at least 4;
