1. A process for forming an electrophoretic display, comprising the steps of:
- a) filling display cells with an electrophoretic fluid comprising charged pigment particles dispersed in a dielectric solvent;
b) coating a sealing composition comprising a solvent onto the electrophroetic fluid in each of the filled display cells; and
c) hardening the sealing composition by evaporation of the solvent while the sealing composition is on top of said electrophoretic fluid.
