1. A method of processing a voice message, the method comprising:

  • performing voice recognition on at least a portion of the voice message to identify a plurality of digits by individually detecting any spoken digits in the voice message, and by detecting an alternative spoken numerical expression different from a spoken digit;

    automatically determining, using a processor, whether the plurality of digits represent a telephone number; and

    automatically dialing the plurality of digits when it is determined the plurality of digits represent a telephone number.
