Abstract

A service that determines what event has occurred and provide a list of actions that the service can be performed in order to help the user through a hectic time period is disclosed. In one example, one or more modules can identify one or more events and transmitting an indication of the at least one event to a mobile device. Then, one or more modules can receive an indication that a mobile device has selected at least one of the at least one event, and determine at least one action to perform, wherein the at least one action can be associated with the at least one selected event.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

predicting an occurrence of an event in response to receiving an indication that an event handling feature has been selected via a mobile device;

transmitting an indication of the event;

receiving an indication that the event has been selected via the mobile device;

determining a previous action that was selected to provide assistance with the event; and

determining a current action based on the previous action, wherein the current action differs from the previous action.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

identifying at least one sub-event related to the event; and

transmitting the at least one sub-event to the mobile device.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the event is based on a location of the mobile device.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the current action is based on a location of the mobile device.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the event is based on the schedule of a user associated with the mobile device.

6. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

determining at least one entity associated with the current action; and

modifying the current action based on a schedule of the at least one entity.

7. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

receiving an indication that the current action was selected;

determining that the selection of the current action affects a future event; and

determining at least one future action to perform, wherein the at least one future action relates to the future event.

8. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

determining at least one entity that is related to the current action.

9. The method of claim 1, the current action further comprising:

transmitting information related to a user of the mobile device to the third party.

10. The method of claim 9, wherein the content of the information is determined by an association between the event and the third party.

11. A method comprising:

detecting a location of a mobile device;

accessing a schedule of a user;

predicting that at least one event has occurred based on the location of the mobile device, the schedule of the user associated with the mobile device, and the user profile of the user;

accessing a user profile of the user, wherein the user profile comprises a previous action selected by the user to handle the event;

selecting at least one action that can be performed in response to the predicted occurrence of the event based on the previous action, wherein at least one of the at least one action differs from the previous action; and

performing the at least one action.

12. The method of claim 11, further comprising:

transmitting the at least one action to the mobile device; and

receiving an indication that the mobile device selected the at least one action.

13. The method of claim 11, further comprising:

receiving an indication from the mobile device, wherein the indication verifies that the at least one event has occurred;

predicting that at least one sub-event has occurred based on the verified event; and

selecting at least one action that can be performed in response to the predicted occurrence of the at least one sub-event.

14. The method of claim 11, wherein performing the at least one action comprises:

transmitting a message from the user to at least one remote user, wherein the message is related to the event.

15. The method of claim 14, further comprising:

transmitting information related to the selected at least one action to at least one remote user.

16. The method of claim 11, further comprising:

modifying the schedule of the user, wherein the modification is related to the event.

17. The method of claim 16, further comprising:

modifying the schedule of at least one remote user, wherein the modification is related to the event.

18. A method comprising:

accessing at least one database of information related to a plurality of events, wherein;

the plurality of events is associated with a user profile of a user associated with a mobile device; and

the user profile comprises a previous action selected by the user to handle a previous event;

predicting at least one event in the at least one database has occurred based on the user profile;

determining at least one action to perform, wherein;

the at least one action is associated with the predicted occurrence of at least one event; and

the action differs from the previous action; and

performing the at least one action.

19. The method of claim 18, wherein the predicted at least one event is based in part on a location of the mobile device.

20. The method of claim 18, wherein the predicted at least one event is based in part on a schedule of the user associated with the mobile device.

21. The method of claim 19, wherein the predicted at least one action is based on a location of the mobile device.

22. The method of claim 18, further comprising:

determining at least one entity associated with the at least one action; and

modifying the at least one action based on a schedule of the at least one entity.

23. The method of claim 18, further comprising:

accessing the schedule of the user to determine whether the at least action affects a future event; and

determining at least one future action to perform, wherein the at least one future action is related to the future event.

24. The method of claim 18, further comprising:

determining at least one entity that is related to the at least one action.

25. The method of claim 18, wherein the at least one action includes communicating with at least one entity related to the action.

26. The method of claim 25, wherein:

each entity is associated with a different group; and

each communication is separated by group membership.

27. The method of claim 25, further comprising:

transmitting information related to the user to at least one entity associated with the at least one action.

28. The method of claim 27, wherein the content of the information transmitted is determined by an association between the event and the at least one entity.
