A method of lowering intraocular pressure in a person with glaucoma or ocular hypertension, the method comprising administering once daily to an eye of the person a first composition comprising about 0.01% w/v bimatoprost and about 0.02% w/v benzalkonium chloride, wherein the method lowers intraocular pressure and results in less ocular adverse events as compared to the once daily administration of a second composition comprising 0.03% w/v bimatoprost and 0.005% w/v benzalkonium chloride.
- 7. A method of lowering intraocular pressure in a person with glaucoma or ocular hypertension, the method comprising administering once daily to an eye of the person a first composition comprising about 0.01% w/v bimatoprost and about 0.02% w/v benzalkonium chloride, wherein the method is equivalent in lowering intraocular pressure as compared to the once daily administration of a second composition comprising 0.03% w/v bimatoprost and 0.005% w/v benzalkonium chloride.
- 15. A method for reducing the amount of bimatoprost administered to a person in a once daily treatment for glaucoma or ocular hypertension, the method comprising administering a first composition comprising 0.01% w/v bimatoprost and 0.02% w/v benzalkonium chloride, wherein the first composition remains useful in treating glaucoma or ocular hypertension despite a lower concentration of bimatoprost as compared to the once daily administration of a second composition comprising 0.03% w/v bimatoprost and 0.005% w/v benzalkonium chloride.
- 23. A method of treating glaucoma or ocular hypertension comprising administering a first composition administered once daily in a person with glaucoma or ocular hypertension, the first composition comprising 0.01% w/v bimatoprost and 0.02% w/v benzalkonium chloride, wherein the first composition lowers intraocular pressure and results in less adverse events, less ocular adverse events and less ocular treatment-related adverse events as compared to the once daily administration of a second composition comprising 0.03% w/v bimatoprost and 0.005% w/v benzalkonium chloride.
