1. A fiber optic network configuration comprising:

  • an optical network terminal located at a subscriber location;

    a drop terminal located outside the subscriber location;

    a wireless transceiver located outside the subscriber location; and

    a cabling arrangement including a first signal line that extends from the drop terminal to the optical network terminal, a second signal line that extends from the optical network terminal to the wireless transceiver, and a power line that extends from the optical network terminal to the wireless transceiver;

    wherein the power line feeds electrical power from the optical network terminal to the wireless transceiver;

    wherein the first and second signal lines are optical signal lines; and

    wherein an optical signal is conveyed from the drop terminal to the optical network terminal through the first signal line, wherein the optical signal is split at the optical network terminal to provide a split optical signal, and wherein the split optical signal is backfed from the optical network terminal to the wireless transceiver through the second signal line.
