1. A method for applying one or more pixel rules to selecting for a user a campaign from a plurality of campaigns, the method comprising:

  • (a) identifying, by a server, one or more pixels tracked for a user;

    (b) identifying, by the server, one or more pixel rules for a first campaign of a plurality of campaigns, each of the one or more pixel rules identifying whether or not a pixel is required for the first campaign; and

    (c) determining, by the server responsive to applying the one or more pixel rules to the one or more pixels tracked for the user, whether or not to include the first campaign in selecting, for the user, a campaign from the plurality of campaigns.
