1. A method of altering eating behavior of a subject comprising:
- (a) providing a device body configured for partially blocking a pyloric aperture and sized for shuttling through a pylorus, said device body being attached to a tether having a length;
(b) selecting a tissue position in the stomach for anchoring an end of said tether, said tissue position being selected such that said length of said tether enables at least a portion of said device body to shuttle between a duodenum and said stomach;
(c) anchoring said end of said tether by penetrating tissue of said stomach at said tissue position.
