in response to detecting user contact with the touch screen display during display of the user selected video program, displaying an interactive progress bar without changing the size of the displayed video program, anddisplaying, simultaneously with the display of the progress bar, an elapsed video play time and a remaining video play time adjacent to the progress bar.

Abstract
A video player for a portable multifunction device is disclosed. In some embodiments, a list of video items is displayed in a portrait orientation of a touch screen display of a portable electronic device. Upon user selection of a respective video item in the list, the user selected video item is automatically displayed in a landscape orientation of the touch screen display.
