1. A system for performing a resection of a selected portion of an anatomy with a resection instrument, the system comprising:
- a main body operable to be fixed to the selected portion of the anatomy, the main body having a long axis and including a first guide portion defining a first guide slot and a second guide portion defining a second guide slot, the main body further having a first track portion formed along a track axis that is parallel to and offset from the long axis; and
a first sliding guide section having a first cut slot that extends along a first cut slot plane that is parallel to the long axis and a first rail, the first rail operable to slidably translate along the first track portion such that the first sliding guide section moves throughout a plurality of distinct positions along the first track portion.
