1. An ionic probe, comprising:

  • an inner shell, an outer shell, and a middle shell configured to house one or more electrodes, wherein an outer surface of the inner shell is contiguous material that includes a first pH-sensitive material and a second pH-sensitive material;

    wherein the inner shell is disposed within the middle shell and the middle shell is disposed within the outer shell;

    an active electrode disposed in the inner shell that generates a measurement signal for an external test fluid;

    a first reference electrode disposed in the inner shell in a first reference chamber formed by an inner divider in the inner shell, the first reference electrode generating a first reference signal;

    a second reference electrode disposed in a second reference chamber formed by the inner shell and the middle shell, the second reference chamber generating a second reference signal;

    wherein the measurement signal is provided by the ionic probe for comparison to the first reference signal and the second reference signal in order to determine an ionic measurement of the external test fluid.
