Abstract

T-cell receptors that recognize MART-1 antigen are provided. The TCRs can be used, for example, to treat patients suffering from melanoma.

1. An isolated polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:

a T-cell receptor comprising an α

subunit with at least 85% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO;

subunit with at least 85% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO;

15, wherein the variable region of the α

subunit consists of SEQ ID NO;

12, and wherein the variable region of the β

subunit consists of SEQ ID NO;

6. The transfected cell of claim 5, wherein the α

subunit has at least 95% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO;

subunit consists of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO;

15, wherein the variable region of the α

subunit consists of SEQ ID NO;

12, and wherein the variable region of the β

subunit consists of SEQ ID NO;

subunit has at least 95% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO;
