1. A method for intercommunicating address book information between different address book systems, comprising:

  • receiving an interworking request carrying address book information, wherein the interworking request comes from a network address book system other than a Converged Address Book (CAB) system;

    converting the address book information according to an address book format supported by a server of the CAB system, wherein a format of the address book information carried in the interworking request is a vCard format or an hCard format, the converting step further comprises;

    reading information of key fields in the vCard or the hCard;

    writing the information of the key fields into corresponding fields of a CAB in a predetermined format; and

    generating a beginning row and an end row according to format requirements of Personal Communication Information (PCI), so as to obtain complete address book information in the predetermined format; and

    sending the converted address book information to the CAB system.
