1. A method of controlling a temperature of a component of a wind turbine, the method comprising:

  • defining a set point temperature of the component of the wind turbine;

    determining an actual temperature of the component;

    comparing the defined set point temperature and the determined actual temperature;

    controlling the actual temperature of the component by controlling an output power of the wind turbine based on a result of comparing the defined set point temperature and the determined actual temperature,wherein controlling of the actual temperature of the component further comprises controlling a cooling power of a cooling system by a cooling control signal,wherein the cooling control signal is indicative of the actual temperature of the component,wherein controlling the cooling power of the cooling system by the cooling control signal is carried out until a maximum cooling power is reached, andwherein controlling the output power of the wind turbine is carried out if the cooling system is operated with a maximum cooling power.
