An electronic communication control system for interacting with and enabling the billing for the use of any of a wide variety of different manufacturers ground position indicative personal communication devices within a zone of a vehicle, wherein the wide variety of personal communication devices each have a radiative antenna, the system comprising:
- at least one first antenna arranged within the zone, the first antenna arranged to transmit RF signals to and receive RF signals from the radiative antenna of any of a wide-variety-of-different-manufacturers-ground-position-indicative personal communication device utilized within the zone;
a wide-variety-of-different-manufacturers-ground-position-indicative-personal-communication-devices responsive control computer arranged in signal monitoring and control communication with the at least one first antenna arranged within the zone, the wide-variety-of-different-manufacturers-ground-position-indicative-personal-communication-devices responsive control computer arranged to monitor, control and enable billing for communicative use of any of the wide variety of different manufacturers ground position indicative personal communication devices utilized within the zone; and
a signal transmission line arranged in signal communication with the wide-variety-of-different-manufacturers-personal-communication-devices control computer, which transmission line is arranged to enable and transmit signal communication through the wide-variety-of-different-manufacturers-personal-communication-devices control computer to and from any of the any of a wide variety of personal communication devices utilized within the zone and with a communications network outside of the zone.

A zone effective ground-position-responsive wifi hotspot system comprising a first antenna arranged within a zone, responsive to any of a wide variety of various manufacturers different wireless ground-position-indicative RF communication devices, a transmission line for transmitting RF signals to and from the wide variety of various manufacturers different ground-position-indicative RF communication devices utilized within the zone, and a control unit arranged in a link between the first antenna arranged within the zone, and the transmission line, the control unit enabled to be responsive to a variety of different wireless ground-position-indicative RF communication devices, to enable controlled wireless RF communication to and from the zone.
