1. A method for receiving and processing a digital radio broadcasting signal, the method comprising:
- using a single tuner to receive an in-band on-channel digital radio broadcasting signal comprised of a plurality of carriers in a single broadcast radio channel, with the carriers being modulated to concurrently transmit two or more different programs;
processing the radio broadcasting signal through one or more layers of a protocol stack to produce encoded content for each of the programs;
processing the encoded content for a first one of the programs to produce an audio output; and
concurrently storing the encoded content for a second one of the programs.
