Abstract

A touch panel including a substrate, at least one first sensing series and at least one second sensing series is provided. The first sensing series is disposed on the substrate and extends along a first direction. The first sensing series includes several first sensing pads and at least one first bridge line. The first bridge line connects two adjacent first sensing pads, and a material of the first bridge line differs from a material of the first sensing pads. The second sensing series is disposed on the substrate and extends along a second direction. The first direction is different from the second direction. The second sensing series includes several second sensing pads and at least one second bridge line. The second bridge line connects two adjacent second sensing pads.

Claims

1. A touch panel, comprising:

a substrate having a top surface;

a plurality of first sensing series disposed on the substrate, each of the first sensing series extending along a first direction, wherein one of the first sensing series comprises;

a plurality of first sensing pads disposed on the top surface; and

a plurality of first bridge lines disposed on the top surface, the first bridge lines being separated from one another, wherein each of the first bridge lines is connected with two adjacent first sensing pads correspondingly, and the first sensing pads comprises transparent conductive oxide and the material of the first bridge lines comprises metal; and

a plurality of second sensing series disposed on the top surface, each of the second sensing series extending along a second direction, wherein the first direction is different from the second direction.

2. The touch panel as claimed in claim 1, wherein one of the second sensing series comprises:

a plurality of second sensing pads; and

a plurality of second bridge lines separated from one anther, wherein each of the second bridge lines is connected with two adjacent first sensing pads corresponding, and a material of the second bridge lines is different from a material of the second sensing pads.

The touch panel as claimed in claim 2, wherein at least a portion of the second bridge lines have an electric conductivity higher than an electric conductivity of the second sensing pads, a material of the second sensing pads comprises transparent conductive oxide, and a material of the second bridge lines comprises metal.

4. The touch panel as claimed in claim 2, wherein the first sensing pads are co-planar with the second sensing pads.

The touch panel as claimed in claim 2, further comprising a first dielectric layer disposed on the substrate to cover the first sensing series and the second sensing pads, wherein the first dielectric layer has a plurality of windows, the second bridge lines are disposed on the first dielectric layer, and the second bridge lines are connected to the second sensing pads through the windows.

6. The touch panel as claimed in claim 5, further comprising a second dielectric layer disposed on the first dielectric layer to cover the first sensing series and the second sensing series.

The touch panel as claimed in claim 2, further comprising a first dielectric layer disposed on the substrate and covering the first sensing series, the first dielectric layer having a plurality of openings corresponding to the second sensing pads, the second sensing pads being disposed inside the corresponding openings, each of the second bridge lines crossing over the first dielectric layer between two adjacent openings and connecting the two adjacent second sensing pads correspondingly.

8. The touch panel as claimed in claim 7, further comprising a second dielectric layer disposed on the first dielectric layer and covering the first sensing series and the second sensing series.

The touch panel as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a first dielectric layer disposed on the substrate and covering the first bridge lines, wherein the first sensing pads and the second sensing series are disposed on the first dielectric layer, the first dielectric layer has a plurality of windows, and the first bridge lines connect the first sensing pads through the corresponding windows.

10. The touch panel as claimed in claim 9, further comprising a second dielectric layer disposed on the first dielectric layer and covering the first sensing series and the second sensing series.

The touch panel as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a plurality of fan-out traces disposed on the substrate, wherein the fan-out traces are connected to the first sensing series and the second sensing series, and a material of the fan-out traces is the same as the material of the first sensing pads.

The touch panel as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a plurality of fan-out traces disposed on the substrate, wherein the fan-out traces are connected to the first sensing series and the second sensing series, and a material of the fan-out traces differs from the material of the first bridge lines.

13. The touch panel as claimed in claim 1, wherein a sheet resistance of the first bridge lines is about 0.01 ohm per square to 1000 ohms per square, and a sheet resistance of the first sensing pad is about 0.01 ohm per square to 1000 ohms per square.

14. The touch panel as claimed in claim 1, wherein an electric conductivity of the first bridge lines is higher than an electric conductivity of the first sensing pads.

15. The touch panel as claimed in claim 1, wherein a sheet resistance of the first bridge lines is lower than a sheet resistance of the first sensing pads.

19. The touch panel as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality first bridge lines are arranged along the first direction, each of the first bridge lines is merely connected with two adjacent first sensing pads correspondingly, a plurality of gaps are arranged along the first direction and each of the plurality of gaps is formed between two adjacent first bridge lines.

16. A touch panel, comprising:

a substrate having a top surface;

a plurality of first sensing series disposed on the substrate, each of the first sensing series extending along a first direction, wherein one of the first sensing series comprises;

a plurality of first sensing pads disposed on the top surface; and

a plurality of first bridge lines disposed on the top surface, the first bridge lines being separated from one another, wherein each of the first bridge lines is connected with two adjacent first sensing pads correspondingly, a sheet resistance of the first bridge lines is lower than a sheet resistance of the first sensing pads, and the first sensing pads comprises transparent conductive oxide and the material of the first bridge lines comprises metal; and

a plurality of second sensing series disposed on the top surface, each of the second sensing series extending along a second direction, wherein the first direction is different from the second direction.

17. The touch panel as claimed in claim 16, wherein one of the second sensing series comprises:

a plurality of second sensing pads; and

a plurality of second bridge lines separated from one anther, wherein each of the second bridge lines is connected with two adjacent first sensing pads corresponding, and a material of the second bridge lines is different from a material of the second sensing pads.

18. The touch panel as claimed in claim 17, wherein at least a portion of the second bridge lines have an electric conductivity higher than an electric conductivity of the second sensing pads, a material of the second sensing pads comprises transparent conductive oxide, and a material of the second bridge lines comprises metal.

20. A touch panel, comprising:

a substrate;

a plurality of first sensing series disposed on the substrate, each of the first sensing series extending along a first direction, wherein one of the first sensing series comprises;

a plurality of first sensing pads; and

a plurality of first bridge lines separated from one another and arranged along the first direction, wherein each of the first bridge lines is merely connected with two adjacent first sensing pads correspondingly, a plurality of gaps are arranged along the first direction, each of the gaps is formed between two adjacent first bridge lines, and the first sensing pads comprises transparent conductive oxide and the material of the first bridge lines comprises metal; and

a plurality of second sensing series disposed on the substrate and each of which extending along a second direction, wherein the first direction is different from the second direction.

21. The touch panel as claimed in claim 20, wherein the substrate has a top surface and the plurality of first sensing pads, the plurality of first bridge lines, the plurality of second sensing series, and the plurality of gaps are located on the top surface.
