Generation and data management of a medical study using instruments in an integrated media and medical system
First Claim
1. A computer-implemented method comprises:
- receiving, from one or more computers used by a patient, one or more responses to questions included in a medical study instrument;
removing, from the one or more responses, patient information including at least one of name information and address information;
generating an encrypted unique identifier, the encrypted unique identifier associated with a physician of the patient;
associating the encrypted unique identifier with the one or more responses from which the patient information has been removed;
providing the encrypted unique identifier to the physician; and
enabling, through the encrypted identifier, the physician to collaborate with other physicians by;
generating information indicative of a plot of the one or more responses from which the patient information has been removed in comparison to other patients'"'"' responses to the questions included in the medical study instrument, with the other patients being associated with the other physicians;
wherein the plot comprises;
a first visualization that is indicative of the one or more responses to the questions included in the medical study instrument as administered by the physician;
a second visualization that is indicative of the other patients'"'"' responses to the questions included in the medical study instrument when the medical study is administered by another physician;
wherein the first visualization is juxtaposed to the second visualization in the plot;
wherein the patient that submitted the one or more responses is identifiable in the plot to the physician through the encrypted identifier based on the association between the encrypted unique identifier and the one or more responses of the patient.

Abstract
In general, a computer-implemented method is described for receiving by one or more computers one or more responses to questions included in a medical study instrument generated through an instrument generation system, removing from the one or more responses patient information including at least one of name information and address information, generating a unique identifier, the unique identifier associated with a patient'"'"'s physician, associating the unique identifier with the one or more responses from which the patient information has been removed, and storing the one or more responses from which the patient information has been removed and the associated unique identifier in a data repository.
