1. A device comprising:
- an optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) reader for reading one or more OSL sensors of a dosimeter; and
an RFID tag reader for reading an RFID tag that is part of a dosimeter, wherein the RFID tag includes data stored in non-volatile memory that is part of the RFID tag, wherein the OSL reader includes a sled slider for positioning a dosimeter sled at multiple positions relative to the OSL reader, andwherein the one or more OSL sensors and the RFID tag are each part of the dosimeter sled that may be separated from the dosimeter, thereby allowing the one or more OSL sensors to be read by the OSL reader and the RFID tag to be read by the RFID tag reader when the dosimeter sled is separated from the dosimeter.

Abstract
Described is a device comprising a dosimeter reader including an RFID tag reader for retrieving and/or updating all or a portion of the data stored in the non-volatile memory of an RFID tag on a dosimeter sled that is part of a radiation dosimeter. Also described is a method retrieving and/or updating the data stored in the non-volatile memory of the RFID tag.
