Abstract

A system for one or more portions of one or more regions of an electronic paper assembly having one or more display layers includes, but is not limited to: one or more position obtaining modules configured to direct obtaining first information regarding one or more positions of one or more portions of one or more regions of the electronic paper assembly and one or more physical status sending modules configured to direct sending one or more electronic paper assembly physical status related information portions to the electronic paper assembly based upon the obtaining of the first information. In addition to the foregoing, other related method/system aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.

Claims

1. A system comprising:

circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly; and

circuitry configured for outputting (i) one or more graphic portions and/or one or more control features associated with at least one activated application for display on at least one portion of the at least one electronic paper assembly and (ii) public and/or non-private content for display on at least one portion of at least one outside surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

2. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining information regarding one or more locations of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

3. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining first information regarding one or more locations of the at least one electronic paper assembly relative to one or more other electronic paper assemblies.

4. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining first information regarding one or more locations of the at least one electronic paper assembly with respect to at least one other object.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for activating at least one of the following types of applications based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly;

cell phone, television, personal digital assistant, personal computer, eBook, calendar, wallet, audio, video, audio-video, game, web browser, mapping, and/or entertainment.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly being of at least one specified angle, radius, force, orientation, and/or ratio.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for outputting (i) one or more graphic portions and/or one or more control features associated with at least one activated application for display on at least one portion of the at least one electronic paper assembly and (ii) public and/or non-private content for display on at least one portion of at least one outside surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for outputting (i) one or more graphic portions and/or one or more control features associated with at least one activated application for display on at least one touch screen portion of the at least one electronic paper assembly and (ii) public and/or non-private content for display on at least one portion of at least one outside surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

8. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining information regarding one or more relative positions of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

9. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining information regarding one or more positions of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

10. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining information regarding one or more sequences of two or more locations of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

11. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one of the following types of electronic paper assemblies;

electrophoretic, electrofluidic, electrowetting, twist ball, liquid crystal, organic light emitting diode, light emitting diode, transistor, and/or liquid powder.

12. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more surface contacts with one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

13. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations along one or more display region borders of at least one electronic paper assembly.

14. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations within one or more display regions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

15. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations proximate to one or more edges of at least one electronic paper assembly.

16. The system of claim 1, wherein the system is at least partly physically associated with the at least one electronic paper assembly.

17. The system of claim 1, wherein the system is at least partly physically separated from the at least one electronic paper assembly.

18. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more locations of one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

19. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more sequences of two or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

20. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more folds, bends, and/or rolls of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

21. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more transient conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

22. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more persistent conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for outputting (i) one or more graphic portions and/or one or more control features associated with at least one activated application for display on at least one portion of the at least one electronic paper assembly and (ii) public and/or non-private content for display on at least one portion of at least one outside surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for outputting (i) one or more graphic portions and/or one or more control features associated with at least one activated application for display on at least one portion of at least one inside surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly and (ii) public and/or non-private content for display on at least one portion of at least one outside surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for outputting (i) one or more graphic portions and/or one or more control features associated with at least one activated application for display on at least one portion of the at least one electronic paper assembly and (ii) public and/or non-private content for display on at least one portion of at least one outside surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for outputting (i) one or more graphic portions and/or one or more control features associated with at least one activated application for display on at least one portion of the at least one electronic paper assembly and (ii) public and/or non-private content selected based at least partly on position information associated with the at least one electronic paper assembly for display on at least one portion of at least one outside surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

25. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining information regarding one or more changes in one or more locations of the at least one electronic paper assembly relative to one or more objects.

26. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining information regarding one or more sequences of two or more locations of the at least one electronic paper assembly relative to one or more objects.

27. A method comprising:

activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly; and

outputting (i) one or more graphic portions and/or one or more control features associated with the at least one application for display on at least one portion of the at least one electronic paper assembly and (ii) public and/or non-private content for display on at least one portion of at least one outside surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

28. A system comprising:

one or more non-transitory media bearing one or more instructions for facilitating operations including at least

activating at least one application based at least partly on one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly; and

outputting (i) one or more graphic portions and/or one or more control features associated with at least one activated application for display on at least one portion of the at least one electronic paper assembly and (ii) public and/or non-private content for display on at least one portion of at least one outside surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly.
