1. A system for implantation in a lumen, the system comprising:

  • an endoluminal device; and

    a distal collar stent that preconditions a portion of the lumen and anchors the endoluminal device, wherein preconditioning comprises the distal collar stent being configured to promote intravascular tissue growth around the distal collar stent to strengthen an anchor location at a distal end of an aneurysm;

    the endoluminal device having at a distal portion that deploys radially within the distal collar stent after deployment of the distal collar stent in the lumen at the distal end of the aneurysm, wherein the distal collar stent only covers the distal portion of the endoluminal device at the distal end of the aneurysm, wherein the endoluminal device has a distal end and a proximal end, and the system comprises the distal collar stent that aligns with and completely surrounds the distal end.
