1. A method comprising:

  • maintaining a plurality of records associated with a plurality of objects, the plurality of records configured to include global positioning system-based data representative of locations of the plurality of objects; and

    accessing at least one of the plurality of records based, at least in part, on determined global positioning system-based data representative of a location of at least one object associated with the at least one of the plurality of records,wherein the accessing at least one of the plurality of records comprisesplacing a global positioning system device proximate to the at least one object,determining global positioning system coordinates associated with the global positioning system device, andaccessing the at least one of the plurality of records based, at least in part, on the determined global positioning system coordinates associated with the global positioning system device by at leastmapping the determined global positioning system coordinates associated with the global positioning system device to a cell in a mesh comprising a plurality of cells, the cell in the mesh associated with cell location values representative of global positioning system coordinates of a center of the cell, the cell location values included in the at least one of the plurality of records, andaccessing the at least one of the plurality of records when the determined global positioning system coordinates associated with the global positioning system device are within a particular distance value from the global positioning system coordinates of the center of the cell.
