1. A method for treating depression comprising locally administering a botulinum toxin subdermally, non-intramuscularly to one or more nerves of a patient with depression to thereby treat the depression, wherein the one or more nerves are selected from the group consisting of:

  • supra orbital nerve, supra trochlear nerve, lacrimal nerve, infratrochlear nerve, external nasal branch of anterior ethmoidal nerve, and mixtures thereof.
