Abstract

Avatars, methods, apparatuses, computer program products, devices and systems are described that carry out identifying a member of a population cohort; and indicating at least one behavior in the member of the population cohort based on an association between the population cohort and at least one cohort-linked avatar.

Claims

1. A computer-implemented system comprising:

a population cohort identification module;

a cohort-linked avatar presentation module; and

an indication module,

wherein the indication module is configured to forecast at least one behavior of at least one member of the population cohort based on an association between the population cohort and the at least one cohort-linked avatar.

2. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 wherein the indication module is configured to indicate a likely behavior of at least one member of the population cohort based on an association between the population cohort and the at least one cohort-linked avatar.

3. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 wherein the indication module is configured to predict at least one behavior of at least one member of the population cohort based on an association between the population cohort and the at least one cohort-linked avatar.

4. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 wherein the indication module is configured to indicate at least one purchasing behavior in the member of the population cohort based on an association between the population cohort and the at least one cohort-linked avatar.

5. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 wherein the indication module is configured to indicate at least one internet usage behavior in the member of the population cohort based on an association between the population cohort and the at least one cohort-linked avatar.

6. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 wherein the indication module is configured to indicate at least one shopping behavior in the member of the population cohort based on an association between the population cohort and the at least one cohort-linked avatar.

7. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 wherein the indication module is configured to indicate at least one gameplay behavior in the member of the population cohort based on an association between the population cohort and the at least one cohort-linked avatar.

8. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 wherein the indication module is configured to indicate at least one social interaction behavior in the member of the population cohort based on an association between the population cohort and the at least one cohort-linked avatar.

9. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 wherein the indication module is configured to indicate at least one behavior in at least one of an online shopper, an online gamer, a virtual world participant, or a social networking site participant based on an association between the population cohort and the at least one cohort-linked avatar.

10. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 wherein the cohort-linked avatar presentation module is configured to present at least one of a purchasing group-linked avatar, a demographic group-linked avatar, or a user group-linked avatar.

11. A computer-implemented system comprising:

a population cohort identification module;

a cohort-linked avatar presentation module; and

an indication module,

wherein the indication module is configured to indicate at least one behavior in the member of the population cohort based on a statistical association between the population cohort and the at least one cohort-linked avatar.

12. A computer-implemented system comprising:

a population cohort identification module including a selection module, wherein the selection module is configured to select at least one online user;

a cohort-linked avatar presentation module; and

an indication module.

13. The computer-implemented system of claim 12 wherein the population cohort identification module comprises:

a demographic identification module.

14. The computer-implemented system of claim 13 wherein the demographic identification module is configured to identify a member of at least one of an age, gender, or ethnicity population cohort.

15. The computer-implemented system of claim 12 wherein the selection module is configured to select at least one individual associated with at least one characteristic of a computer registry.

16. The computer-implemented system of claim 12 wherein the selection module is configured to select at least one participant of Second Life.

17. The computer-implemented system of claim 12 wherein the selection module is configured to select at least one participant of World of Warcraft.

18. The computer-implemented system of claim 12 wherein the selection module is configured to select at least one registered user of Facebook.

19. The computer-implemented system of claim 12 wherein the selection module is configured to select at least one registered user of MySpace.

20. The computer-implemented system of claim 12 wherein the selection module is configured to select at least one user of eBay.

21. The computer-implemented system of claim 12 wherein the selection module is configured to select at least one iTunes user.

22. The computer-implemented system of claim 12 wherein the cohort-linked avatar presentation module is configured to present at least one of a purchasing group-linked avatar, a demographic group-linked avatar, or a user group-linked avatar.

23. The computer-implemented system of claim 12 wherein the indication module is configured to indicate at least one behavior in a member of a demographic population based on an association between the demographic population and at least one avatar linked to the demographic population.

24. The computer-implemented system of claim 12 wherein the indication module is configured to indicate at least one behavior in the member of the population cohort based on an association between the population cohort and at least one avatar linked to the member of the population cohort.

25. The computer-implemented system of claim 12 wherein the selection module is configured to select at least one online user from at least one of an online virtual world participant, an online shopping participant, or an online social networking participant.

26. The computer-implemented system of claim 12 wherein the selection module is configured to select a virtual world participant as the at least one online user.

27. The computer-implemented system of claim 12 wherein the selection module is configured to select an online shopping participant as the at least one online user.

28. The system of claim 12 wherein the selection module is configured to select an online social networking participant as the at least one online user.
