1. A system for dilating tissue of a drainage pathway of a sinus cavity of a patient comprising:
- a guide catheter secured to a distal end of a handle, the handle defining a recess that opens along a longitudinal length of a side surface of the handle;
a steering device disposed in the recess and configured to be externally manipulated by a user and configured to slide along the recess in a direction parallel to a major longitudinal axis of the handle and further configured to rotate relative to the handle;
a wire guide extending through the guide catheter and the steering device, wherein rotation of the steering device effectuates rotation of the wire guide through complete revolutions relative to the handle while the steering device is positioned within the steering device recess; and
a balloon catheter having a central lumen, wherein the wire guide extends through the central lumen, the balloon catheter further comprising an inflatable balloon.

Abstract
A method of treating a constricted sinus passageway of a patient includes traversing the canine fossa region of the patient so as to form a passageway in the sinus cavity. An elongate member is inserted through the passageway, the elongate member having an inflation member such as a balloon disposed thereon. The inflation member is positioned within the constricted passageway. The inflation member is expanded so as to expand at least a portion of the constricted sinus passageway.
