1. A manipulation system for controllably positioning a head relative to a surface of an inhabitable structure and irradiating the surface with energy waves from the head, the manipulation system comprising:

  • a positioning mechanism releasably coupled to the head, andan anchoring mechanism releasably coupled to the positioning mechanism and releasably coupled to the structure, wherein the releasable coupling of the positioning mechanism to the head and the releasable coupling of the anchoring mechanism to the positioning mechanism facilitate reversible assembly and disassembly of the manipulation system, wherein the anchoring mechanism comprises one or more attachment interfaces configured to be releasably coupled to the structure, wherein the one or more attachment interfaces comprise at least one vacuum pad.
