Abstract

A method for one or more portions of one or more regions of an electronic paper assembly having one or more display layers includes, but is not limited to: obtaining and controlling display of one or more portions of one or more display layers of the electronic paper assembly regarding display of second information having one or more classifications in response to the first information associated with one or more changes in the one or more conformations of the one or more portions of the one or more regions of the electronic paper assembly. In addition to the foregoing, other related method/system aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.

Claims

1. A method at least partially performed by one or more processing components, the method comprising:

obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly; and

controlling, in response to the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

2. A system comprising:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly; and

circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

5. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more display surfaces.

6. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more display regions.

7. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for obtaining, from one or more sensors, information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

8. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for obtaining at least one of strain and/or stress information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

9. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for obtaining pattern information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

10. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for obtaining sequence information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

11. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for obtaining angle information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

12. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with draping and/or wrapping associated with one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

24. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more persistent conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

25. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly regarding display of blocking content, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly regarding display of private content, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly regarding display of public content, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly regarding display of other than private information, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly regarding display of other than public information, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly for displaying content from one or more portions of at least one outside surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly for displaying content from one or more portions of at least one inside surface of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

33. The system of claim 2, further comprising:

circuitry for detecting one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

34. The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly of at least one of the following types;

electrophoretic, electrowetting, twist ball, liquid crystal, organic light emitting diode, liquid powder, flexible transistor array, light emitting diode, and electrofluidic.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer is able to display information under independent control of at least one at least partially overlapping second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer is usable to block or allow viewing of information being displayed by at least one at least partially overlapping second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 2, wherein the circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer is usable in conjunction with at least one at least partially overlapping second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly to display information together from at least one display surface.

3. A system comprising:

means for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly; and

means for controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

4. A system comprising:

at least one article of manufacture bearing one or more instructions for facilitating operations including at least;

obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly; and

controlling, in response to obtained information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly, display of one or more portions of at least one first display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly, which at least one first display layer at least partially overlaps at least one second display layer of the at least one electronic paper assembly.
