1. A method of diagnosing a disorder comprising:

  • (a) contacting a first array of antibodies specific for one or more antigens characteristic of a disorder with a biological sample obtained from a first subject suspected of having the disorder under conditions suitable for the formation of an antigen;

    antibody complex, wherein the presence of the antigens in the biological sample would be indicative of the disorder;

    (b) contacting second array of antibodies identical to the first array with a biological sample obtained from a second subject who does not have the disorder under conditions suitable for the formation of an antigen;

    antibody complex;

    (c) detecting the formation of any antibody;

    antigen complexes; and

    (d) comparing the binding patterns of the first and the second antibody arrays.
