- detecting, during an upload session for a set of images, that first content of an uploaded image of the set of images varies, according to a defined measure, from second content of a previously uploaded image of the set of images; and
in response to the detecting;
determining a time that has elapsed since a previous notification was sent to at least one recipient of a set of recipients associated with the upload session; and
initiating sending of a notification of the upload session to the at least one recipient in response to the time meeting a condition with respect to a duration specified by a notification frequency preference associated with the at least one recipient.
