1. A system for collaborative music making in virtual space comprising:

  • a client application respectively associated with each of a plurality of clients for combining musical choices of at least some of the plurality of clients, wherein the plurality of clients includes a local client and at least one remote client;

    a system server operatively connected to each client application to receive a position data and an audio data from each of the local client and the at least one remote client to combine the musical choices of at least the local client and the at least one remote client relative to the position data of the local client and the remote client;

    a graphical interface generated by at least one of the client applications or the system application, the graphical interface providing each of the plurality of clients with opportunities to make musical choices by adjusting the parameters of pre-recorded or computer generated sounds locally, or by navigating through virtual space to adjust the parameters of sounds emanating from remote entities; and

    a collaborative musical mix generated from the position data and the audio data received for each of the plurality of clients of the virtual space.
