1. A method for backing up data stored on a mobile device, comprising:
- using a processor to determine mobile device data to be stored on a server;
installing a client on the mobile device;
creating an email address for each user account configured on the server;
accessing the server with a unique identifier by using the client installed on the mobile device;
evaluating the determined mobile device data, wherein evaluation includes determining whether the determined mobile data is intended to be transmitted to the server, identifying server data and comparing the server data with the determined mobile device data;
based on the evaluation, securely transmitting the determined mobile device data to the server from the mobile device, wherein transmitting the determined mobile device data to the server includes emailing the determined mobile device data to the server by using an email address associated with a user for the determined mobile device data, wherein the email includes identification information, wherein the identification information identifies the server and provides verification of the mobile device by including user identification of the user and password in the identification information, wherein the user identification and password are associated with a storage area on the server having predefined storage characteristics, wherein the predefined storage characteristics include storage capacity; and
storing the transmitted mobile device data on the server at the storage area associated with the user identification and password.
