1. A system for measuring a variation of the distance of a rotation axis of an object with respect to a point in a plane perpendicular to this axis, comprising:

  • at least two sensors capable of measuring information representative of an angular position of said object around said axis, each sensor having a fixed position with respect to said point and comprising a magnetometer capable of measuring the magnetic field emitted by said object which has a variable magnetization over its circumference; and

means for determining said variation of the distance based on a variation of the angular distance between said sensors with respect to the axis, from one revolution to another of said object, said means exploiting a time shift between extrema in the responses of the two sensors.
