1. A method for managing a wireless device based at least in part on a profile of a user of the wireless device comprising:

  • receiving by a predictor operated by a computing device, the profile of the user, a profile of a communication partner of the user, an operational recommendation of the wireless device, a performance model of the wireless device, and a current state of the wireless device, wherein the current state of the wireless device comprises a current energy consumption state of the wireless device;

    predicting by the predictor a future task to be performed by the wireless device, and predicting a resource requirement for performing the future task, based at least in part on the user profile, the communication partner profile, the operational recommendation of the wireless device, the performance model of the wireless device, and the current energy consumption state of the wireless device; and

    generating by an optimizer/analyzer a set of instructions to configure the wireless device, based at least in part on the predicted future task and the resource requirement for performing the future task, and a quality of service requirement of the wireless device.
