1. A method of establishing a connection between a first device and a second device, comprising:

  • operating, by the first device, as an access point for a wireless infrastructure network;

    broadcasting, by the first device, an advertisement invitation within a management frame over the wireless infrastructure network, wherein the advertisement invitation requests transmission of advertisements regarding services offered by other devices;

    receiving a response to the advertisement invitation from the second device, wherein the response indicates that the second device offers at least a particular type of service, and wherein the second device is a station device on the wireless infrastructure network;

    determining, by the first device, that the first device is to access the particular type of service offered by the second device;

    in response to the determination, sending, by the first device, a connection invitation within another management frame over the wireless infrastructure network, wherein the connection invitation requests that the second device initiate a connection to the first device via the wireless infrastructure network;

    receiving, by the first device, a request from the second device for the second device to connect to the first device via the wireless infrastructure network;

    accepting, by the first device, the request from the second device; and

    establishing, the connection between the first device and the second device.
