1. A method, comprising:
- sampling a predetermined number of in vivo analyte sensors during an analyte sensor manufacturing process;
determining, using one or more processors, a sensitivity value for each of the sampled predetermined number of analyte sensors;
determining, using the one or more processors, a sensitivity variation for each sensitivity value, by comparing the sensitivity value determined for each of the sampled predetermined number of analyte sensors to a predetermined sensitivity variation level;
determining, using the one or more processors, if one or more of the determined sensitivity variations exceed a tolerance threshold level;
determining, using the one or more processors, a mean sensitivity based on the sensitivity value determined for each of the sampled predetermined number of analyte sensors when it is determined that the one or more of the determined sensitivity variations do not exceed the tolerance threshold level, wherein upon determining that the one or more of the determined sensitivity variations exceeds the tolerance threshold level, rejecting the sampled predetermined number of analyte sensors during the manufacturing process; and
associating, using the one or more processors, a sensor code to the predetermined number of analyte sensors when the mean sensitivity falls within a predetermined sensitivity range.
