1. A liquid crystal display device, comprising:

  • a liquid crystal layer comprising liquid crystal molecules and sandwiched between a pair of substrates which are disposed opposite each other;

    over one of the pair of substrates, a light-reflective common electrode, a light-transmissive pixel electrode which is provided over the light-reflective common electrode with an insulating layer interposed therebetween, and a transistor comprising a gate signal line; and

    a wiring overlapping with the gate signal line and over the gate signal line and the light-reflective common electrode, wherein the wiring is electrically connected to the light-reflective common electrode,wherein the light-reflective common electrode and the gate signal line are provided on a same insulating surface,wherein an entirety of the light-transmissive pixel electrode overlaps the light-reflective common electrode,wherein the transistor is electrically connected to the light-transmissive pixel electrode through a contact hole, andwherein the contact hole overlaps with the light-reflective common electrode.
