1. A method of wireless communication, comprising:
- transmitting uplink communications from a user device to a satellite in a mobile satellite system (MSS system) on a first frequency;
receiving downlink communications at the user device from the satellite in the MSS system on a second frequency;
transmitting uplink communications from a land-based station to an aeronautical vehicle in an air-to-ground system on the second frequency, the land-based station directing the uplink communications on the second frequency away from the user device to reduce interference to the user device; and
receiving downlink communications at the land-based station from the aeronautical vehicle in the air-to-ground system on the first frequency.

Abstract
A method for providing wireless communication services via efficient management of frequency bands includes transmitting uplink communications to a first system on a first frequency. The method also includes receiving downlink communications from the first system on a second frequency. The method may also include transmitting uplink communications to a second system by re-using the second frequency. The method further includes receiving downlink communications from the second system by re-using the first frequency.
