1. A mobile device, comprising:
- a processor;
a service book application stored in a memory store and executable by the processor to;
(i) receive a pushed service book at the mobile device over a wireless network from a service registry, the service book including a plurality of fields relating to a host service and identifying a service provided by the host service, wherein the service registry is a central registry that is accessible on a wired computer network;
the service book application being further executable by the processor to(ii) receive an indication from a user of acceptance of the service provided by the host service, and,(iii) in response to receiving the acceptance, download from the service registry, to the mobile device that received the pushed service book, an internet application that prompts the user for information needed to initiate the service on the host service; and
performing the steps (i) through (iii) for each of at least two service books; and
a service book subsystem configured to display a list of the at least two service books;
wherein the host service that provides the service and the service registry that pushes the service book and downloads the application are separate entities at different network locations.

Abstract
A system and method for pushing a service book to a mobile device is provided. A service book includes a plurality of fields relating to a host service. At least one mobile device is identified that is to receive the service book. Wireless propagation information is provided that identifies an address for the mobile device to receive the service book. The service book is transmitted over a wireless network using the address for the mobile device, and is received by the mobile device.

8. A method of provisioning a service on a mobile device, comprising:

(i) receiving on the mobile device a pushed service book over a wireless network from a service registry, the service book including a plurality of fields relating to a host service and including an offer to perform the service, wherein the service registry is a central registry that is accessible on a wired computer network; (ii) receiving from the mobile device an indication from a user of acceptance of the service; and (iii) in response to receiving the acceptance, the mobile device downloading from the service registry, to the mobile device that received the pushed service book, an internet application that prompts the user for information to initiate the service at the host service; and (iv) performing the steps (i) through (iii) for each of at least two service books; and (v) displaying a list of the at least two service books; wherein the host service that provides the service and the service registry that pushes the service book and downloads the application are separate entities at different network locations. - View Dependent Claims (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19)
