1. A vehicle suspension, comprising:
- a first member;
a second member;
a lock-out valve of said first member, said lock-out valve having at least two positions, one position of said lock-out valve at least substantially inhibiting said first and second members from moving closer together when subjected to a compressive force less than an adjustable threshold pressure;
a blow-off valve of said second member allowing said first and second members to move closer together in response to a pressure imparted on the blow-off valve during compression of said first and second members being equal to or greater than said adjustable threshold pressure when said lock-out valve is in its substantially inhibiting movement position;
a first external adjuster permitting adjustment of said lock-out valve from a location external of said vehicle suspension;
a damping fluid chamber comprising a compression chamber and a rebound chamber separated by a piston, said damping fluid chamber positioned at least partially in said second member;
at least one adjustable damping mechanism positioned in said first member; and
a flow channel configured for enabling a fluid to flow there through, said flow channel positioned in said first and second members and enabling said flow of said fluid through said damping fluid chamber, said at least one adjustable damping mechanism and a reservoir coupled with said compression chamber and said at least one adjustable damping mechanism, wherein said at least one adjustable damping mechanism selectively blocks said fluid flowing through said flow channel, thereby selectively affecting movement of said piston.

Abstract
A bicycle fork includes a pair of fork leg assemblies, each of the leg assemblies having an upper leg telescopingly engaged with a lower leg. A damping assembly is provided in at least one of the legs. The damping assembly includes lock-out and blow-off compression circuits. These compression circuits are externally adjustable without tools. Furthermore, these two compression circuits may be adjusted independently of each other.
